Pastiche

The moment I discovered that word, I smiled.

Not because it gave my business a name.

Because it described the way I'd been creating all along.

I've never been very good at looking at something the way everyone else does.

A weathered piece of metal. A strand of fiber. An unexpected texture. A forgotten object.

Most people see materials.

I start wondering...

"What else could this become?"

That's where every piece begins.

I've always been fascinated by transformation. My favorite part isn't knowing what a piece will become...it's discovering what it was capable of all along.

Every work I create brings together unexpected materials, textures, and techniques that each have a story of their own. Individually, they're beautiful. Together, they become something entirely new.

That's the beauty of a pastiche.

Some creations become part of a small collection. Others will exist only once.

I don't believe wearable art should whisper.

I think it should spark conversations long before you say a word.
